Dear Church Family,

As we prepare to close out 2025, my heart is full of gratitude for everything God has done among us this year. God has truly blessed Victory Chapel, and I am so thankful for each of you and your commitment to God and His church.

We Had a Full December!

  • I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who showed up and served during our Church Work Day on Saturday, December 13th. We accomplished a great deal, and the stewardship you showed is a testament to your love for ministry.

  • The following day, Sunday, December 14th, was a treat. Between the Christmas Service and the joy and fellowship we shared at the Christmas Party, it was a beautiful reminder of the love and joy of our church and the true Reason for the season.

  • We were also privileged to host two special guest speakers to close out the year. I hope you were blessed as I was by the ministry of both Dr. David K. Bernard and Paul Records.

  • Thank you all for your generosity toward the Christmas for Christ offering. Your giving directly supports new church plants across North America. Once we have the final total, I will provide an update on our church’s collective contribution to this cause.

Moving Into a New Year

As we transition into the New Year, we are shifting our focus upward. January will be our Month of Devotion. Starting January 5th, we will begin 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting.

I am asking every individual to join together in this time of consecration and commitment by focusing on these three areas:

  • Devoting Our Day: Prioritize your time by spending quality time with God every single day. Give Him your best time and your full attention. Commit to a time (or times) each day to talk with God.

  • Denying Our Diet: Select specific days to fast during this 21-day period. Whether you choose certain days each week or a consecutive block of time, use these moments to "push the plate back." By removing necessary food, we show God we are prioritizing Him over our physical desires and needs, and drawing closer to Him as our ultimate sustainer.

  • Disconnecting Our Distractions: Eliminate the "noise" that often fills our time. Let’s intentionally set aside social media, news, secular music & entertainment, etc. By eliminating these distractions, we create the spiritual space needed to hear His voice more clearly.

This coming Sunday, we will have commitment cards available for every individual. This will be a way for you to personally commit to the days and ways you will be seeking the Lord during these 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting.

Let’s start the new year right and carry that momentum throughout 2026! I am expectant for what God is going to do in your life and in our church in the coming year.

Blessings,

Pastor Tim
