WEEKLY UPDATE

VC Family,

The Christmas season is a wonderful time of year when we pause to remember the greatest gift ever given: the Incarnation; God reconciling the world to Himself in Jesus Christ. It is a season of spiritual reflection, joy, and celebration of the hope and salvation His birth brought to the world.

We invite you to join in for several events that will enrich your connection to the church and the meaning of Christmas this month! This week:

  • Church Work Day -- Sat. Dec 13th, 9:00 AM -- A great opportunity to serve! Help keep our building functional and welcoming. Tasks for all ages; no experience necessary.

  • Christmas Service -- Sun. Dec 14th,11:00 AM -- A special Sunday Family Worship Service celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

  • Christmas Party -- Sun. Dec 14th, 5:00 PM -- An evening of fun and fellowship! Includes a Meal Train sign-up (https://mealtrain.com/gzedl8) and a $5 White Elephant Gift Exchange.

Then, the following Sunday, Dec 21st, we are excited to have Dr. David K. Bernard with us. He'll be teaching our Victory Foundations Bible Class (at 10 AM) and preaching our Family Worship Service (at 11 AM). You want to be a part of both! 

Christmas for Christ Offering -- On Sunday, December 21st, we will be receiving our annual Christmas for Christ offering. 

  • Every dollar goes directly to supporting North American Missions and the planting of new churches across the continent, helping to spread the Gospel

  • Let's come prepared to give our best gift to Christ this Christmas on the 21st

9:00AM Saturday, Dec 13th -- Help us keep our church campus welcoming and functional! Our annual Work Day is a fantastic chance to serve together as a community. We welcome all volunteers for various tasks, both indoors and outdoors; no experience necessary!
